2012 Predictions

The Mayan calendar predicted the world would end Dec. 21, 2012. Is this true?

Over view :

MAYAN CALENDAR  is a calendar invented by ancient Mayas of remarkable accuracy and complexity. At the upper left picture  is the ancient Mayan Pyramid Chichen Itza, Yucatan, Mexico. The Pyramid of Kukulkan at Chichén Itzá, constructed circa 1050 was built during the late Mayan period, when Toltecs from Tula became politically powerful. The pyramid was used as a calendar: four stairways, each with 91 steps and a platform at the top, making a total of 365, equivalent to the number of days in a calendar year. The Maya calendar was adopted by the other Mesoamerican nations, such as the Aztecs and the Toltec, which adopted the mechanics of the calendar unaltered but changed the names of the days of the week and the months. An Aztec calendar stone is shown above upper right side. The Aztec calendar was an adaptation of the Mayan calendar. It consisted of a 365-day agricultural calendar, as well as a 260-day sacred calendar.

I hesitated to write this article because I don’t want to scare people. But I just want to share my ideas about the said end of the world. I did quite a bit of research regarding the information presented in the June 1st message, and came across an unbelievable amount of videos on YouTube about the future of mankind and the earth.

this ff. link will show you an example of end of the world video

According to these videos, in 2010 we will see Earth changes it will be devastating to all living creatures on the planet. There will be compound crisis’ happening at the same time in our cosmos. According to the article, “is at the center of an escalating cultural phenomenon, with New Age roots, that unites numinous dreams of societal transformation with the darker tropes of biblical cataclysm. To some, 2012 will bring the end of time; to others, it carries the promise of a new beginning; still to others, 2012 provides an explanation for troubling new realities—environmental change, for example, that seem beyond the control of technology and impervious to reason.”

Predictions about the end of the world is nothing new. Ancient Gnostics, for example, predicted the arrival of God’s kingdom as early as the first century.

Despite those videos and everything u have read they are all just predictions, no matter what happens let’s have faith and trust in God . . that’s the best advise I can give you. Let’s just be happy and treasure every moment we have. Let’s not think about those horrible predictions, what matters most is that we are given another chance to live, laugh, and love. Staying with those people we treasure the most with greater glory and guidance of God is what’s best for all of us.

May this enlightened your mind 🙂 GodBless ..

You have to wonder, the Mayan’s calendar ends at 2012. Yet, the world is still here and humanity is going strong. It’s gotta be a sign of great things to come right? 🙂
